Graduation, Future Plans and XBOX Automatic Renewel Cancellation Woes

So I’ve graduated, and now have officially no plan in life. Its absolutely mad. I have now fulfilled my education as far as the state will carry me, and to go further (as in pursue a Masters) I would need 4,500. Even worse if I wanted to pursue my legal education and become a solicitor I would need a further 15,000! Sadly neither option is feasible and my life has become a standard pitiful tale of no direction. Currently it consists of speed reading all the Harry Potter books (and watching the films) before I go to see the final film on Sunday, and the highlights of my week for the past five weeks has been waiting for Naruto, One Piece and Fairy Tail to come out on Mangastream. At least I’m going to Bath (the town) next week with the g/f and some Uni friends. One small thing to look forward to.

As for the future, the only thing I can think to do is travel. Its something I really want to do, and I’d love an excuse to practice my Italian, but this requires the same thing to amount to a success – money. These lottery tickets better start cashing in…

In other news – screw XBOX Live. as some of the few readers may know with the latest revamp online, they took away the ability to cancel the monthly automatic renewal subscription effectively turning it into a direct debit with no way to cancel unless you call up the notoriously bad customer support line. I have never been bothered to do this. However it may surprise you to know that they secretly brought this feature back. However there is just one major problem – IT WON’T GO THROUGH!!

Just a few updates haha.

Erasmus was great. 🙂

Project is done. 🙂

International Human Rights Essay needs doing. 😦

Incedentily I am now 22! Haha, guess my blog title still applies eh?

That is all.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but I’ve been busy so sue me. It seems my life is just so full. As hard as the first term of my final year was, the second is 10 times worse and the reason is simple – the dreaded Erasmus course. Put simply I’ve had to do a group essay already while trying to balance out my project, and International Human Rights Law essay at the same time, which hasn’t been made any easier by my food poisoning episode all last week. That and I still need to apply for a job to give my life some meaning…

For some relaxation, I’ve decided to start Final Fantasy XIII, which I got for my birthday last year. The reason I haven’t started yet, is the same person who bought it for me (my sister) decided to hog it all summer and I’ve kind of forgot about it.

That has been my life in a nutshell, I’m much too lazy to post any more than that right now. I’d much prefer some sleep.

I’ll try and blog little updates every now and again…

Man, lately my life has just plain sucks. I’ve had several problems at university (timetable clashes) which no one seems to be sorting out. My year 3 rep is useless and I am struggling in my third year to cement down my actual timetable and get enrolled in the proper courses. I won’t delve into specific details but its all very stressing. Because my timetable still hasn’t been sorted out it means I can’t lay down an effective study schedule.

In other news I’ve been trying to get Naruto Shippuden Ultimate: Ninja Storm 2 BUT IT IS SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!! I phoned up Gamestation’s Camden Town branch and attempted to reserve it. When I got there they had said another women had reserved it in her name. Its like the universe doesn’t want me to be happy. Though on tuesday I did buy a snazzy new netbook so its not all bad. it was supposed to be a grade-a model (a factory refubished but good as new) and it really is good as new. Works like a charm, makes taking notes in lectures so much easier. Take it where ever I go. Shout out to the guys at for a great service. (It was listed as a 160gb model, but came with 250gb).

That’s all for now. Hopefully things will get better soon. 🙂

(18-10-10 10:15)

Just ordered Naruto Shippuden from gamestation’s website for a good price at 34.99. Should be here tomorrow so that’s something to look forward to. 🙂

*Update 2*

(19-10-10 19:16)

Parcel force tracking has told me that Naruto has been mis-sorted and has been misdirected to the Coventry sorting office. WTF… I’m requesting that next day delivery charge back.

Sono Molto Stanco

As I write this I am ill, slightly hung over and about to travel into work, so that pretty much means bad times Nevertheless I thought I’d update you on a few things because it’s been a while.

Firstly my exams! They all went surprisingly well, everything I expected came out on the exam. Not much to say only I feel I did really well. Alot of my friends would disagree wih me… Funny that! I guess I just knew what the teachers were hinting through the revision sessions. 🙂 I’d say all in all my worst exam was probably criminal my best was EU and P.E.T was somewhere in between.

Went to the university summer ball yesterday and was a bundle of fun! Bought a nice suit for it (alongside a seperate suit for my cousins wedding in a few weeks), and everyone looked the part. We ended up stealing a table which was reserved for some members of the student union who never showed up and scored three bottles of wine! Had a good night with the uni mates, always nice to get to know them better.

Right, have to go down to work. Will update more later!

Criminal, Options, and the Wild Wild West

Today was a very good day indeed. It makes 2 out of 3 (EU Law and Criminal Law) exams so far where specific material I have revised has come up! Absolutely brilliant. I was so scared about this exam too, as were most of the people in my group, because its one of those units where you can’t really guess as to whats going to come up. The only thing you can do is revise everything (which is practically impossible). Luckily everything I did manage to revise came up! I couldn’t have asked for a better paper. After I had my exam I had lunch with the university group and decided to go to the Library and do some Property, Equity and Trusts (P.E.T) revision. It didn’t go so well…

On the way home I bought Red Dead Redemption! It’s a game which is basically a wild west version of grand theft auto (incidentally made by the same group – Rockstar), and it is awesome. Only played an hour of it, and I’ve enjoyed every aspect so far, from riding the horses in the beautiful western american scenes to shootouts with the sheriff!

In other news I have to make my third year options choices by Monday. I still haven’t decided what I want to do – more specifically the Erasmus programme. This is a brilliant programme where only 6 people in the year are chosen to work closely with other university students across europe. I would study the interrogation and creation of criminal law within the EU (newly established with the Lisbon treaty). The only downside is the work. I calculate some 12000 words for that unit alone! That would make around 25000 for the entire year – more than all the essays I’ve written at University to date put together! I’m just not sure if I have the time or the willpower to succeed in something like that. This time I really will have to have a long hard think – much harder than domain names!

So I have my criminal exam tomorrow! I truly feel like I’m being put on trial, my tutors the judges and the jury my peers! As a way of making myself feel better I will now list the subjects I have revised:

  • Murder
  • manslaughter (voluntary, Constructive, and Gross Negligence)
  • GBH (Sections 18 and 20)
  • ABH (Section 47)
  • Sexual Offences (SOA 2003)
  • Defences (Provocation, Diminished Responsibility, Automatism, Insanity, Intoxication (in/voluntary), Duress (circumstances and person)

Hopefully that will be enough! Hopefully…
